Creation of a strong exterior plaza and pedestrian street was the primary focus of this project, with an emphasis on the connection of the new community to the existing campus fabric. Strong connections between the buildings, and between indoor and outdoor gathering spaces were also critical to the University.

Buildings were designed with exterior corridors and balconies to allow a strong relationship to the outdoor plaza from all levels, and to draw an architectural connection to the adjacent town; which has a similar character to the city of New Orleans.

Units are all suite-style units with common areas and kitchen space within the units.

Amenities in each building include laundry rooms, student storage, computer labs, study areas, and TV lounges.
